Clinical Supervision
On average it takes 2-3 years of supervised practice for a clinician to earn full licensure. Those years are critical for the development of a new clinician. Provisionally licensed clinicians that receive quality supervision during this time become stronger clinicians, have the confidence to begin licensure, and are better ethical practitioners. Supervisees who do not have access to quality clinical supervision often struggle, burn out quicker, and contribute to the 3- 7 year attrition rate for mental health therapists.
Here at NMC&W we recognize that even fully licensed clinicians benefit from ongoing support - as a result we offer specialized clinical consultations for licensed clinicians as well looking for additional support.
Melanie Mosbarger, LPC, CTTS offers supervision from the client centered theory and utilizes a trauma informed lens throughout supervision. Please contact us through our website to learn more on how we can support you through your supervision journey.
